Start around 2 metres away
Use landscape orientation and a clear side view. Move the camera farther back until your head, hands and feet fit with space around them. 2 m is a starting point, not a fixed requirement.

BEFORE YOU ENABLE THE CAMERA
Place your camera about 2 metres away to start. Check the preview: your whole body must be visible. Adjust the distance for your phone’s lens and your available space.
Use landscape orientation and a clear side view. Move the camera farther back until your head, hands and feet fit with space around them. 2 m is a starting point, not a fixed requirement.
Do not cut off your head, hands or feet. If any body landmarks leave the frame, counting stops and the partial rep is discarded.
Position the camera to your side, stable and roughly level with your body. Keep shoulders, hips and ankles aligned; extend your arms and legs.
Do not lift your hips into a pike or let them sag. Keep your body aligned rather than bending at the hips to reach the bottom.
Lower until the visible elbow reaches the detector’s 90° threshold, then return to straight arms. Both phases are needed for one counted rep.
Shallow dips do not count. Avoid pointing the camera at your head or feet: a side view makes elbow depth easier to estimate.
Illustrations are positioning guides, not a guarantee of accurate tracking. Keep the floor clear and your phone secure. Stop if movement is uncomfortable.
Start about 2 metres away, camera securely at your side.
Keep your shoulders, hands, hips and feet in frame.
Hold a straight-arm plank for 3 seconds (one beep each second) to get the green light.

Start at the top: straight arms, body aligned, legs extended. Side-on camera, one person, good lighting. Green means the starting position is detected—not that the timer has started.
Reach an estimated elbow angle of 90° or less, then return to straight arms. The first complete rep counts as 1 and starts the 30-second clock. A partial lowering does not count.
If tracking or alignment is lost, the partial rep is discarded. The clock keeps running. Returning to the top lets you try again. Switching tabs ends the attempt.
Experimental movement estimate, not a form certification or medical assessment. A side-view camera cannot prove toe support, perfect technique or prevent cheating. Accuracy varies by camera, lighting and body proportions. Do not force a painful range of motion; stop if uncomfortable. Public scores are experimental and may be manipulated. No prizes.
